JUNE - JULY HATCH-ALONG!!!!!!!

Pics
Oopsie daisy! I jumped the gun on an egg I thought was dead. Started the eggtopsy and ... not dead! But now with a great big hole in the air cell.

Time to break out the coconut oil. Never used it before, so interesting to see if it's as good as everyone says. A thin layer, and then I covered the egg with an egg-shell half from the hatched eggs to keep the moisture in, and put the egg in the hatcher in a vertical position. And now we wait. At least 2 more days, it's not even remotely ready for the world yet...

Talk about bad Timing, A McDonalds add for an Egg McMuffin popped up under your post... lol not an appetizing picture to follow if you want to sell an egg meal.

OMG - opening a live egg is the stuff of my nightmares! I cracked open the quitter and clear guinea eggs over the sink last night and cringed every time I opened one (even though I KNEW there was no live chick in there!). Best of luck with your embryo!!!:fl

Oh, no. But hey, its alive!! And getting out of the egg will surly be easy though..

I have 7 Serama eggs hatching this weekend. Today is day 19, one pipped this evening!:clap:pop This is my second hatch this week. 3 out of 5 hatched on Tuesday.

I also have 5 eggs set to hatch next weekend. Isbar, DSL Barnvelder, and Isabel Orpingtons.

Oooooh, over the last few days I have gotten 7 seramas locally and they are so funny, but I was wondering if anyone could answer my question. So, I got a serama rooster tdy that has a comb kind of similar to that of a leghorn comb. I have read that is not supposed to be in seramas, so if anyone knows, I'd love to get the answer.
