Yes! We stayed down in Southern California for a few months when we first moved out here, but it wasn't for us. Northern California is much more friendlier to a country girl born in Mississippi.

Haven't reallybeen to Modoc yet, we've driven through. But DH just bought close to two acres in Lassen county for our future mini farm. So I'm sure we'll visit more in the future.
