Just Bought 5 Kg of Chick Starter. How Long will that Feed 10 Chicks?

If you put some wire mesh over the top of the feeder, they can't scatter it quite as much... The darlings will eat through the mesh but won't be able to scratch all the food out. The bag will last much longer!

If you possibly can, just get another bag. They might get their food wet, poop in it, who knows what. I've only had chickens since May, but I've already learned, if I'm at the point of wondering if I need to buy chicken feed, it's time to buy chicken feed.
