Just candled my eggs

I candled them again and the dark end of the egg was bigger than last time!

Candled mine today, day 5. All I'm seeing is yolk at top of large end of egg. Don't think they will hatch.

Thats what I see. Except the rest of the egg is dark. I smelled them and they all smelled fine. None smelled rotten.

It's day 18 and I'm not seeing blood vessels or anything. I think I'm going to open one.

I don't think I would open eggs that are only on day 18.

ok thought i'd post these here... if they can help.

edit: these pics were day 17. eggs set on sept 30, pics taken oct 17.

i used 2 flashlights to get these pics, larger one below and a smaller one over the air cell ( both LED )

this one is a good egg, now in the hatcher. pic taken yesterday. quite active.

this guy quit between days 15 and 17. the difference is very noticable.

this is a view of the first egg, with just the small flashlight over the air cell for comparison.
