Just curious? Who names all their chickens and who doesn't?

Oh yeah, all of them are named except the 2 in the brooder.... they still go by "itty bitties". You don't really want me to list them do you? Okay, I feel my arm being twisted...

The Seramas: Venus, Hedwig, Gordon
The OEGB pairs: Romeo & Juliet, George Jones & Tammy Wynette
The Layers: Drew Barrymore, Cher, Christy Turlington, Gisele Bunchen, Raquel Welch, and Dixie McCall

The teenage pullets: Jacob and Daisy,
The teenage roos: Logan and Puff Daddy (P Diddy)

I name all my chooks, but we took so long thinking up a name for my Silkie rooster, he kind of became Silk.

He's officially been dubbed Jenarnold (My brothers named him after our Taekwondo instructor and Schwarzenegger in the Terminator 2

) , but Silk is still what we call him when we don't have time to think about it.

Haha. I still always name my chickens, as they're more like family than food, or just plain old livestock, to me:)
I have:
Yanna (Supposed to be Ayanna, but Yanna stuck)- EE mix
Peep - Wyandotte???
Buff (My brothers call her Bufficus Wufficus, Bufficus Buffy Wuff, or Buffa Wuff
roll.png
) - Buff Brahma... Not too creative a name, but it's like with "Jeremy"... She's officially Caly, but Buff stuck better

Zulu - Polish pullet
Jenarnold/Silk - Silkie rooster
Egglentine, or Egg, Egga Wegg, Egga Wegga, Eggie Wegg, etc... - d'Anver hen

As you can see, we have some strange nicknames for our chooks

Haven't yet but want to.......I am just getting started (since I was a kid in 4H) I got 12 chicks on May 6th and they are 5 week old now. 4 Dominiques, 5 Speckled Sussex & 4 Plymouth Rockers...Besides the obvious distinctions in each bread they are so similar in appearances that I have had trouble, until recently, telling them apart...But now that they're getting older and are developing individual apprearances and personalities. I was thinking of good collective names like Parliament, Murder and Host for the 3 breeds but names are personal and I'll just have to work on it I guess. Good luck naming yours...cant wait to hear about what you decided.

I name all of my chickens, but only once they're mature and I know who I'm keeping, what color they'll be as adults, and gender of course. Every single one of my adult chickens has a name, and yes, of course I know who each one is.
