The haircut looks great and the woman sporting it looks great! I think the cut frames your face well...I used to hate having short hair because I have a slightly rounded face with high cheekbones but now I love it because it doesn't take too long to style it after I shower or in the mornings.
I gained about 15 lbs. in several months even though I weighed the same weight for 3 years since I was 19 (now I'm 22). I took these water pills to try to help with a hair/menstrual problem and unfortunately one of the side effects (losing weight) was the exact opposite with me.

Now I am trying to take that extra 15 lbs off but it is harder to do that now than when I was 18. I try to run about 4 miles every week on the treadmill but that gets boring fast. I have cut out plenty of carbohydrates from my diet and added more protein, such as yogurt or pearled barley or quinoa or even peanut butter (or other nuts).
Doesn't it feel good to have a short haircut, though?! For me, it feels like a huge weight off my head, literally!
 
I love your hair cut. It looks cute on you. I like short hair. I use to have long hair, but after a bout with breast cancer (3 yrs ago. cancer free now) I shaved it off. I now am sporting a cute short dew ever since. Congrats on the weight loss, you look great.
