Just finished 2nd round of Corid 1/3 teaspoon to gallon of water

Hey there,

I just have a question or two we just finished the 2nd round of Corid on our chicks we have 7 5week olds and 3 3week olds my question is now that I have finished the Corid treatment should I put probiotics in there water?? Or just go back to regular water? And for how many days if so?? They eat fermented feed twice a day once in the morning and once at night then have access to dry feed at all other times we use Scratch and Peck chick starter and they have chick grit as well if there is anything else I should do please let me know I thank you in advance and appreciate all advice and help offered Thank You Thank You Thank You

Thank you so much for all your help? Will the chicks still have runny dropping? Or will that stop? Only one I saw had a bit of runny poo

They should get back to normal once the gut flora is back to normal, but coccidiosis can cause some damage in the intestines. The amount of water they drink can also affect whether or not droppings are runny.
