Hi! I'm Peggy, and my other half and I are getting six baby chicks from TSC within the next two weeks probably. I am from the suburbs of Buffalo NY (Amherst) but now we live in the middle of nowhere on the edge of a forest, by a little creek. It's really fun out here (well OK, fun in the SUMMER anyway), and a nice place to raise our daughter who is 13 1/2 months old. Most of our neighbor's have chickens and I love them, so I hope this works out OK for us. They'll be for eggs only, and we're keeping three of the six.
