If you live in the city you may want to check out this website, www.thecitychicken.com. There's some good info about having chickens in urban areas and there are also some great pictures of chicken housing (chicken tractors or arcs) that works well in the city. I just wanted to update, My chickens are doing great but I still think that my oldest chicken rosemarry is underweight, shes eating a little bit of chicken food but i still dont think that she likes it, shes very active and alert, and i put my baby chickens outback inside of a ferret cage in the shade for two days, and rosemarry sat by the cage and now I let the chickens come out and play with her, she does herd them a little and pecks at them but she doesnt attack them anymore, the first time she did draw blood, I think i just introduced them the first time way to fast for her comfort, I let the babys run around during the day, and kennel them at night. my cats are afraid of the babys and I love that.. here are so pics of my babys the black and the white one, the red one is the adult can you estimate theyre ages for me? and breed? and if the black and the white ones are males or females?
