I currently have one pullet and one cockerel and i plan on attaching a larger run to the bottom left one, and modifying it a bit to just be a place for them to sleep in.
And I will try to convince my mom to let me have one or two more chickens from tractor supply co in February.

Their beaks will also need trimming. An easy way to help them keep their beaks at a normal length is to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s and buy a small paver brick and put it in their cage.

I knew that their nails would need trimming but nothing I ever read about caring for chickens said that their beaks needed trimming too.

I know this is probably getting annoying, but maybe I could get this coop and just use their current cage inside that coop when I need to introduce them to new chickens or to separate snowball and cricket if she starts pecking his head again.
