This is Apricot a Buff Orpington/ EE cross sitting on the pea eggs that I won on ebay.

This is day 5th of incubation. Not the best picture, but you get the idea. The dark spot at the left center is the embryo.

Update out of my five eggs only the bronze is fertile

3 Chicks last weekend 3 this weekend, 100% hatch rate so far all blackshouler 4 for next weekend still out of BS pen and the following week maybe some purples

Just candled all my first round of e-bay auction eggs,,out of 5 Cameos,6 Cameo W/E,6 Cameo B/S,,6 Purple B/S,,we now have 11 left,,2 Opals also looks dark,,,shipments this week will total 28 more eggs coming via mail,,wish it would cool off some
