Just Set Some Faverolle Eggs Last Night..July hatch, anyone else?

Well mine were shipped eggs and all basically came across the country- I got 4 out of 6 from Mississippi, I got 5 out of 12 from Maine and I got 4 out of 15 from Georgia. The ones from Georgia I think were bogus. 8 out of 15 were not even fertile- looked like store bought eggs!, the chicks that hatched are suppose to be blue, but look mixed. They say if you can get 50% on shipped eggs you are doing good!

my son just recently got a young pair of bantam pair of salmon faverolle's to show in 4H. We are hoping to incubate some of her eggs next spring!!!!

I have some eggs from gumsgirl due to hatch around July 3rd (they are blue orpingtons and splash orpingtons).

I also have some Rhode Island Red/Turken mix eggs due to hatch around July 9th

All dates are approximate

I've got 6 Salmon Fav eggs in the Genesis 1588 due on July 1 although my first batch with this bator was a day early so it may be June 30

. I've got no experience with this breed and only read a little on the net about them. Happened to run across them on ebay and thought I would give them a shot. I guess I'm curious about the pros and cons. I see several people mention they absolutely love the breed. Just curious what is you like about them. I'm sure I will find out in about a week but thought I would like input from others so I can anticipate the hatch date even more

what I love about faverolle's is that they are very docile and sweet. They are beautiful birds and there is just something about them!

I'm setting 14 Bantam Rhode Island Red eggs and 3 Bantam Blue and Black Ameraucana eggs tonight or tomorrow so July 14th or 15th will be my hatch date
