So adorable! Just what I needed, too. I've had a rough day. Thank you!
Yay! Go Mama! Does she have a name?
Woo-hoo she still has 7!!! Out of 8. I've never seen her have this many last this long.
Haha I've always just called her Mama because she has so many babies she usually hatches 4 sets of them every year. Seems like this time some will actually stick around, they are already getting so big within a few more days they should be to big to be eaten by the seagulls.Yay! Go Mama! Does she have a name?
They already seem to have mastered the tempo of eating like a grown-up duck! It's amazing how fast they gobble it down. The little guys came up to get a snack from me with their mom today

Ahhhhh I love them!!!What a good Pigweed! Look at her running! Next comes Nettle. Thimbleberry is a bit slower. Stay tuned for the Pigweed tippie toe maneuver!
The really funny thing is I tried watching this after my ducks had wandered about 10 feet away. Hearing "me" call them they instantly ran back. I showed Pigweed that my hands were empty but she could hear invisible ducks eating the mealworms! So she didn't believe me and climbed all over me looking for the delicious snacks I was clearly withholding. The other ducks were also betrayed but not quite so aggressive about it, naturally. All the snacks belong to Pigweed.
