The swans are owned by the city, and since the city feeds the swans I guess people just think it's a good place to dump their birds there are probably around 60-80 dumped domestic ducks and a few geese there

Yeah and lots of people come to feed them and they have little dispensers around the lake where you can get some waterfowl feed for a quarter

That’s awesome. So that must mean they’re okay to be there. We hear so many horror stories about Muscovy and how they are hated it always makes me so sad to see when they have been abandoned. All the V other domestics too.

Hey all, just found these two beauties at the local park. The big black one's massive size and purple iridescent feathers are making me think muscovy hybrid wondering what yall think

Yeah I thought black swedish and buff at first but had never seen a black swedish with purple iridescence like that he sure is gorgeous!

I have two black swedish females and they are quite iridescent. They really are gorgeous. Will you try to catch them? If not, maybe put the word out for locals on BYC and see if someone will rescue them.
