Does he have an extra toe or just an extra spur? He has a lot going on with his feet. He is probably highly cross bred. My neighbor got him from the feed store full grown.

Yes that’s what I thought. I guess I’m just wondering what in the world his offspring are going to come out looking like because I have no idea what he is.

He reminds me of my partridge Silkie I used to have but he doesn’t have a the walnut comb.

He’s not much bigger than my hens which I’m pretty sure five are cinnamon queens, two are barred rock hens and one is a Rhode Island Red. (I have left the world and been in a chicken binge since I joined three or four days ago) He’s got a bushy little tail and red on his feet. He will remain a mystery forever.

I thought he looked a little bit like the buff Orpington roosters but when I look at his picture the way his feathers are colored he looks so much like my partridge Silkie did minus the black feet.

He appears to have short legs Like a Dorking. Feathered legs and 5th toe like a Faverolle. But he doesn't look like either one. The face with a feather spike sticking up is something I've never seen before.
Whatever he is, he is absolutely beautiful! :love

Dorkings are supposed to have 5 toes
