So basically I am haveing excruciating bad luck with my hatching (have posted on this before) and was just wondering how far along this chick had developed before dieing (Mother hen accidentally stepped on the egg) I took this photo on the 27th of Jan.

I find my most common spots of death are around days 10 and 18.

Looks like around day 12 to 15 to me. I had eggs that stopped developing around those days of incubation but they were slightly smaller. I'm sorry about your loss.
