Darkness had finally fallen and, just as promised, Jay arrived at Tylisia's tree hollow. Tylisia danced in excitement; the return of the moon's light always made her happy, and she couldn't wait to spread her wings and join all the fellow owls in rejoicing with the return of the moon. Jay felt the same way, and couldn't wait to fly with Tylisia and his friends.
Jay and Tylisia set off together to the center tree, where everyone was meeting to go on the night flight. When they arrived, Jay quickly found Gilfordis, Oliver, and Lucifer. He introduced them to Tylisia, and then she went off in search of her own friends. It was crowded in the large center tree, and the sound of owls cooeing, hooting, screeching, and hissing filled the air as they all awaited anxiously for the leader of the night flight to arrive.
Tylisia searched for Sanga and all her other friends...
