Königtum von die Eule

Jay swerved around the bare tree branches in the thick forest as he flew back to his and Tylisia's nest. He caught a glimpse of another Barn Owl fly by him. He ignored it and kept flying, when suddenlt he swiveled his head back around and looked more closely at the owl...He could have sworn an owlet that he had seen before was in the owls clutches. He stared after it for a moment, watching as it immediately disappeared in the thickness of the trees and the darkness of the night. Out of curiousity, he turned sharply and went in the direction of the mysterious owl. Settling my suspicion wouldn't hurt anything, would it? He thought to himself. He sped up and soon caught sight of the Barn Owl ahead. He flew faster until he was nearly caught up to the owl. He looked at its talons and noticed that it did indeed have an owlet in its talons. But he couldn't see its face, so he still wasn't sure if the owlet belonged to the owl. Not only that, but what made it even more odd and suspicious is the owl didn't look like any normal Barn Owl; it's feathers were in horribly condition and its feathers were off-color and dull, compared to what they should be.
"Hey! What's your name and what are you doing?" Jay screeched to the owl.

The owl whirled his head around and shreed at Jay, not letting him see the chick's face. His face was torn from years in battle and his color faded after being washed with blood. He shreed again and picked up speed. "Jay!" Came a cry from the owlet as she heard his voice. She turned her head slightly before the owl shook his talons, making her look forward again. The owl neared the old ruins of a stone hollow built by the Others. He shreed at two other Tyto Alba's, handing Sabio to one of them. He flew off with her, and the remaining owls turned to Jay.

Jay had been trained to fight, and in fact he was quite good at it. But he had never been in a real battle with more than one Pure One owls before. Once or twice he had battled with a Pure One, but never more than one. He contemplated turning around and flying away, but he couldn't ignore the thought of what they might do to the poor owlet, whose voice he recognized as Sabio's.
As the two Pure Ones turned on him, he spread out his large talons and screeched as he aimed for the one on his right wing.

Jay folded in his wings and dropped straight down, out of PO#1's view. Then, he reopened them and shot upward, and aimed straight for the unsuspecting Pure One. He flipped over and spread his talons straight up towards the Pure One, and before he knew it they grabbed onto the Pure One's claws. The Pure One panicked and tried to spin upside down, which enabled Jay to spin rightside-up. In doing so, Jay caught a burst of wind beneath his wings and he spun himself around and let go of the Pure One's claws at the perfect moment, causing it to be shot downward in a spiraling, out of control motion. Jay steadied himself and looked around for PO#2.

PO#2 was nowhere to be seen. He had went inside to get more help. PO#1, his balance regained, shot straight up and grabbed Jay's wing. His feathers grew bloody and he was getting tired just as PO#2 returned with a new one. (PO#3). They shreed and attacked.

(Three against one...not fair at all! But they are very stupid...Hmm.)

Jay screeched in alarm and struggled to defend himself against the evil Pure Ones.

...............................
Back at the tree hollow: Tylisia's eyes shot open and her heart pace quickened. Jay! She thought frantically, hearing her mate's call of distress. She flew out of her hollow and soared as fast as she could to where she had heard the screech from Jay. She knew he was in immediate danger and needed to find him as quickly as she could.

Jay latched onto one of the Pure One's wings with his talon and bit another one's leg as they all surrounded and attacked him. He screeched again, and Tylisia flew faster. Finally she saw what was happening; she was several feet above the battle, unnoticed, and with as much power force as she could muster, she dove straight down and slammed into PO#1. With her talons, she latched her sharp claws into his neck and killed him immediately. The two other Pure Ones, temporarily distracted by the intrusion of Tylisia, were caught off guard when Jay suddenly made his move and grabbed PO#2's wing. He screeched in surprised and flopped in the air frantically, but Jay had a strong grip on him and he wouldn't let go. While Jay distracted PO#2, Tylisia shot upwards and dug her claws into his back. He screeched and let go of Jay's wing. Jay let go of PO#2's wing and PO#2 dropped out of sight. Tylisia and Jay both turned on PO#3, but in a second he darted away, with his leg injured from Jay biting it with his beak. He knew better than to stay and try to fight both of them when he was injured.
Once Tylisia saw that PO#3 had disappeared from her view, she turned to Jay. He was still able to fly, but barely. His wing was gashed and he was exhausted. Tylisia flew over to him and said, with worry clearly in her voice, "Hurry, we need to get you back to the kingdom. I think I can carry you there..." She wrapped her claws around him to try and carry him, but he was larger than her and much heavier, and her claws were too small. Nevertheless, she tried. Her wings beat frantically as she attempted to stay in the air and carry Jay."I can't, I'm just too small!" She said finally.
"Call for help." Jay cooed, struggling to fly. Tylisia nodded and screeched the emergency call as loud as she could. It echoed as far as the kingdom and a few owls that were the most nearby heard it. They screeched back in return and notified other owls, whom notified even more owls. Two of them, two large warrior owls, flew out to find where the emergency screech had come from. When they finally did, one of them said, "What happened?" As he quickly observed Jay.
"He was attacked by three Pure Ones." Tylisia hissed. The two warrior owls gave each other a dark look, and then they both flew to each side of Jay to hold him up. One of them screeched and notified the other owls that they had the situation under control as they flew back to the kingdom, with Tylisia following close behind them.

Eight eyes narrowed in anger watched them leave. "Keep close watch on the owlet, that disgrace of a Tyto is keen on getting her." A voice hissed. "Yes, General." Another voice responded, and disappeared. Another turned to the one who had not spoken. "Get 12-56." A deep voice growled. "Yes, High Tyto." Those eyes disappeared too.
