Kale Leaves

Mine sometimes don’t take to something right away..... And they always pick their favorite stuff first, spoiled brats! Eventually they’ll go back and eat most things. There are some veggies that they only eat chopped small or cooked though

Well when it was bedtime I noticed the Kale had gone so as you say, they must have gone back and had it.
Today I'm giving them Yogurt with added vitamins plus some pieces of Broccoli.

I have a bunch of kale that we grew by mistake. I'm gonna see if my chickens will eat it. Will probably chop it up and toss it to them. Can't hurt them.

My chickens enjoy kale. I just take whole leaves and stuff them in a suet cage, and let them tear them up.

I keep trying greens and fruits and no luck with my chickens. I've been reading on BYC what a hit greens usually are. Mine only go wild for mealworms, yogurt or pasta. Very picky, spoiled babies lol

Our chickens will not eat commercially grown greens. The ducks on the other hand go nuts for supermarket kale. They aren't fussy.
