Kat’s Journey into Chicken Keeping

Such a bad little lady. Very disappointing. 😕
Shame on you!
Right? I told her I am shocked and appalled by this terrible display! I am the only one allowed to eat the eggs (well, and DH) and if I see this kind of behavior again there will be consequences!
A stern warning. :rant :old:duc:mad::smack

Hopefully it was broken by accident & she didn't intentionally break it. That's happened here a few times!

My geriatric RIR (9 years) laid an eggs other day. It was cracked, and inside contents was wolfed down. I noticed shell was quite thin. Other chickens' eggs are normal. I think MaryJane may have osteoporosis already :old :idunno She layed about 3 or 4 eggs in 2020:thumbsup
I love it that your RIR is 9 years old!!!
I hope my ladies live long and healthy.

She is much like my Lilly. She is about 6 and lays about 3 to 4 eggs a year.
