Carri, he started out a little skittish because he went out to the nursery coop and I didn't spend much time with him like I normally would because I was trying to keep the door from opening up too much in the cold weather. Now that I've been taking out chopped boiled eggs, he thinks I'm not so terrible, LOL. He'll be a sweetie, just like his dad. Never had a BR yet who wasn't.

Yep, he sure does look like his mother, doesn't he? Oh, Lynn's pullet, Lizzie, Lexie's California daughter, just laid her very first egg today!

Yea, you can sure tell Lily is their sibling. Cyn, how old is Lizzie with her first egg? I was thinking she was quite a bit older than Lily but mebbe not. Lil sis in the background on 2nd pic behind Gabriel has that same "look" on her face Lily always does, like "whatcha doin?"

I have one of their sisters in the brooder downstairs who is two weeks old and that girl has the BIGGEST attitude. She is a wild thing, full of personality, just like your Lily. One customer has claimed them both and she's going to have her hands full with those two girls, LOL. Jill, I can't remember how old Lizzie is, but I'm thinking she's about 21 weeks old now.

Cyn, he is so cute!! He already looks like he is practicing to "rule".

Lizzie's mom reporting in: She was 25 weeks old! It seem like all my girls are just taking their sweet time gearing up to lay. Well worth the wait, and IN THE NESTBOX, too!!!

Cyn, Gabe is a chip off the old block(s) for sure! He is showing tons of personality already!

See? I completely lost track of her age, but I guess it's too much to ask of myself to know the exact ages of all Lexie's progeny across the country, LOL. Hey, at least she didn't wait till she was 30 weeks old like two of my girls (not Lex's)! She'll be an excellent layer if she's anything like her mom.
