They come sort of like the bbs orps, TOH.

I have a hard time seeing the difference in what some call light blue and splash in the BLRW.
 
Next hatch will be better. The first couple batches of eggs I hatched were more roos than pullets. Now the last 2 were the reverse.

Yep both sexes come in light and dark.

This is Louise last spring with her broody self. lol She stayed broody for at least 6 weeks before finally giving up.She's the darkest of my 3, the other 2 are more splash.
 
I have 3 hens that will be 2 years old this April.I got them from McMurray as straight run and all turned out to be hens.This girl is somewhat darker now that she has molted.I just knew I would get a pair if not all 3 roo's but it didn't happen.

How old are yours MP? They don't have the plumage pattern of cockerels, but that would depend on age.
 
You know after another look I'm not convinced they are all cockeral's either.Wyandotte's are sorta tough to figure out sometimes because of their rose comb.
