And how are you going to treat them? Anointing?Uh oh, I just overheard my mom telling my dad over the phone that she thinks the food that I'm feeding the birds is giving my brother a rash.
Did I forget to mention that one of my sister's has a rash too!? We're not sure what her rash is from, yet though. It's different from my brother's egg rash.

Yup! By anointing them with oil and praying over them. And how are you going to treat them? Anointing?
You need to cut down your birds number.I got some bad news. Some REALLY bad news.
My brother is getting a rash from eating eggs.
Instead of having my brother not eat eggs anymore, my mom wants to quit feeding the birds what we're feeding them now and go back to what we used to feed them.
This is awfully worrying, because if we quit feeding them a balanced diet, the ducklings\chicks with stop growing, the chickens will get fatter, and then I'll have birth defects in the ducklings\chicks. Then fertility will go back down again, too.
I really don't wanna go down this road again.
I've already been there, learned the hard way, and it gave me terrible results.
I really, really, really pray that she doesn't make me go back to feeding the birds plain oats.
It's really hard to grow out birds on plain oats - nearly impossible. I've been there before. It just don't work no matter how bad you want it to.
If she does, this is going to mess up my Khaki Campbell experiment, too.
Here we go again...... why does this gotta happen?
Every time I finally start getting things straightened out with the birds, to where things are finally working like they're supposed to, we gotta go back to our old ways that don't work.
I really wish I had the money to buy them proper food.
I really don't wanna go down this road again - been here way too many times. All it does is stress me out A LOT and make me wish I could have a job - a job that actually pays.
Sorry guys, I just had to tell someone, because this is getting me all worried up inside.
Make an experimentOh my, that is sooo sweet of you Octavia!
Thank you soo much for the offer, but it's ok.
She has the money to buy the feed, she just doesn't want to give them that feed anymore because she assumes that something in the feed the birds are eating is giving my brother a rash.
I've explained to her what giving plain oats does to them but she has her own way of thinking and overlooks what I tell her.
Thank you soo much, but there really is nothing the two of us can do about it, other than pray for the best and try to convince her otherwise.
I just meant that I wish I had a job so I could afford to have a different brand of balanced feed shipped to me because they only sell one kind where we live that is non gmo and organic.
The feed we get now is already expensive enough without shipping - $26 for 40 pounds.
Why? I know I try to make it sound like I hatch that many all because of duck math, but we really actually do truly need those birds for meat, to feed us this winter. Remember that we grow most all our food. We need them for meat birds. They will be butchered as soon as they are 15 weeks old.You need to cut down your birds number.
Thank you, Benny! That's a wonderful idea! At least someone here has good ideas!Make an experiment
Take 5 chicken and give them only oats, and after at least 10 days, give the eggs to your mother and see if she get a rash or not.
More bird=more feed=more moneyWhy? I know I try to make it sound like I hatch that many all because of duck math, but we really actually do truly need those birds for meat, to feed us this winter. Remember that we grow most all our food. We need them for meat birds. They will be butchered as soon as they are 15 weeks old.
