I’ll take pictures of the whole flock this afternoon and start there. And guess what?! All 3 of my silkies are cockerels So now there is 6 roosters / cockerels for me to rehome.

Trust me, I know But all 3 silkies? Come on! I’ll likely be overrun with more cockerels with my 5 OEGB chicks, too. Of course. I’ve given up on a rooster flock, I’ll just rehome them to where I know they will be happy. I will send them off to their new homes within 2 weeks (depending on my schedule and theirs).

I round up all my cockerels I don't plan to breed and put them in a 10x12 tractor until it warms up. I'll re-evaluate on the day, anyone who convinces me he'd be a good backup breeder get's released, the rest get on the bus.

A grande total of 27 chickens. 3 of the 6 cockerels will be rehomed soon. The other 3 cockerels (silkies) will go a bit later.
