• DS = Dear Son
• DIL = Daughter in Law
• DH = Dear Husband
• DW = Dear Wife

So adorable!! I do have a question though, what does DS mean? (I’m probably the only one who doesn’t know )

DH - Dear Husband
DS - Dear Son
DD - Dear Daughter
I don't know where it started, but it seems to have taken hold ...

Never a dull moment around here! My coop is definitely on the mend. The three inside aren't out of the woods, yet, but they're coming along. I think I'll keep the Corid going for an extra day or two, just to make sure everyone got what they needed. Then, I guess, I go back to business as usual, but adding some extras to help them put the weight they lost back on before winter sets in. Any suggestions on how to do that without ending up with a coop full of obese biddies?

Sunflower seeds are the greatest for putting on some more fat. My chooks go insane for them. I gave them two handfuls (for 12 chickens) in the winter and one handful in the fall. I've also heard mealworms do the trick as well, but I have never tried them.
