I just used the very last of my chicken feed.....
I'm gonna have to choke up the money on Sunday and buy another bag.

Hey, I just thought of something. Our local cat rescue will give cat food to needy families who can't afford to feed their kitties. Food pantries for people will often do the same thing. I'd be willing to bet that someone has a bag of cat food you could have. Even if they don't, it never hurts to ask; and who knows, maybe you'll expand their rescue pantries.

I TOTALLY understand. Sometimes, I hate school, too ... and I'm the teacher!
Hang in there. You're halfway through the year. Find yourself a tutor. If you don't know someone, ask your teachers. They'll help. As nasty as they seem, sometimes, they really do want to see you succeed. You'll be surprised at how much better they are when you actually ask for - and use - extra help. And when the urge to "quit and live your life the way YOU want to," gets too strong, remember that living the way you want takes money - and the best way to make sure you have enough to live the way you'd really like to live is to suck it up, knuckle down and finish school. And that's not preaching coming from an educator, that's life lessons coming from someone who learned it the hard way ... much later than I should've and could've.
