Well apparently the Ancona Drake is Blue & not black.

He's pretty! And yes, blue, not black He does have some dark leakage, which is why he has those darker patches. Technically it's not desirable, but it is pretty! I have a blue bibbed Call duck like that with some black leakage.

Here's my girl, you can see her head is darker and down around her chest, and she also has the odd black feather in her body too. I think it's pretty, but technically it's not proper for the color.
