The only thing i'd worry about is one boy taking all the girls, that would leave an unhappy guy.
Your silkie would likely be the unhappy guy, and there is nothing sadder than an shunned silkie.
If it was me id get him a few more silkie ladies and have one very happy rooster "when he grows up" lol!
I don't really have much confidence the two breeds you have can coexist peacefully for very long when the hormones hit.
Silkies are odd and LF males tend to be quite pushy.

I would never regret a coop that's too big.
Better to start off with that instead of ending up with a condo complex of coops.
