can't wait to find out the outcome as well! i had an incubator in my room as a teen, but my parents knew and we lived in the country. i think it's great that you have her/him as a pet. not so great that your mom doesn't know, but so many teens do so many other bad things, this is cute! you sound very sweet. just remember, when talking to your mom, don't get disrespectful. that fuels a parents' fire, believe me. lol. my hubby and i could keep our cool pretty well while raising our teens (who are now grown), but once the disrespect happened, well we would kinda lose it. lol.

im sure she wouldn't leave it in the diaper all day! Its ok to leave them in it for a school day (6 hours) and then after that change it every 2 hours.... ive done it and my chickens were fine! but they werent in a room. they were allowed the whole house... anyways the chicken would be fine
