Keeping a secret in the bedroom..A clucky chicken!

Ive been lurking around here since this thread started, and I could be wrong, but IMHO, and sometimes suspicious nature, I wonder if this thread was actually real...

It just doesnt seem too likely that her mom has not figured out early on, that she was hiding a chicken in her room.

I dunno, but most fellow moms I know, have gone into their child's room at one time or another and for whatever reason, over the course of the couple of weeks that the girl has had the baby chicken in her room..

It Probably could be the "suspicious cop " in police officer in me even tho I long since retired..

In NO way am I wanting to stir up angry comments , now, this is just MY thoughts..

I always suspect something like this is fake, but I have fun with it anyway. Most likely the OP was trying to stir up a bit of trouble: "Tell your Mom, NOW! You are evil for doing such a thing! You are being cruel! Poor chickie! All alone...blah..blah....so forth and what not....."

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one who kind of suspects this thread might not be real.

Only4Ghosts- *Ahem* Keeping a chicen in a diaper, NO PROB! When our rooster got injured he lived in the house for several weeks, IN A DIAPER! Is he okay and healthy? YES! PEOPLE KEEP HOUSE CHICKENS AS PETS! IN DIAPERS! NOT changing the diaper is cruel!

OOOOOOOH! humph! I read the whole bloody thing waiting for an outcome! I also wondered how true it was but being nosy by nature I carried on reading - I can't imagine the size of their house if her mum hasn't been upstairs to the spare room for weeks!
My parents would kill me for doing that - although a girlfriend of mine wasn't allowed pets so she used to keep them on a spare block of land next door - guinea pigs...her mum found out and she wasn't allowed to keep them. Seemed a bit mean, guinea pigs are sweet, small and only squeak...
I didn't even know you could get chicken diapers, they sound horrible - how on earth do they work?!

CHICKEN DIAPERS ARENT HORRIBLE!

and the straps go on there wings, its actually qiute great, works well and is not harmful

guinea pigs are sweet, small and only squeak...

I love guinea pigs, but they do not "only squeak". Their squeaks are LOUD and can annoy someone to death pretty easily. Guinea pigs are adorable, and I love them, but its understandable why your girlfriend's mom didn't want it in the house.

I hope she didn't get caught and grounded with no internet access, poor Penny, she's just a little chick who got adopted and now her life hangs in the balance... Grrrr, WHY WON'T SHE UPDATE! ..................


PS.Yes, I know I've been away from BYC for a while, my family and I were on a trip and we were preoccupied.
