Keeping dust down from dust bath

I currently have a dust bath (just dry dirt) for the little ladies but it is suuuper dusty. How can I cut down on it? Any tips?

You can dampen it for a cooling dust bathe but being dusty is kinda the point.

They'll be fine

A good dust bath is by nature, dusty. Which is fine outside but not so great if you have chicks indoors.
