We were just given two baby geese as a gift. We already have 3 ducklings, two that are almost 6 weeks old and one that is 3 weeks old. What are the odds they will all get along as adults? We have a big area for them, but want to make sure that no one gets hurt.
The odds of them getting along as adults are better if they're used to each other as babies. But if some of them are drakes or ganders, you can't be sure, and you'll have to watch them, especially during breeding season.
If it turns out to be a goose and a gander, and they pair up, and you have a drake and two ducks, and the drake is happy with only two ducks, all should be well. If all birds are female, all should be well. If you have more than one male of either kind, there will probably be trouble. If all are male, prepare for havoc.
