Keeping my dogs away from the coop

If your dogs have that much interest in the birds “behind” the fence, then a strand of electric fence is the ticket. One zap is all it will take. I also think the dogs associate that pain to the chickens delivering it.

We also have a female poddle that loved to panic the chickens from outside the run until one day it got left open on accident and her and our other poodle killed four of our birds in less 30 minutes. After that we no allow the poodles down by the pen.

To keep them away we use a rolled up news paper and beat it against our hand while telling the dogs no. They got the message and rarely needed reinforcement after the first couple of days.

I also put chicken run throughs/dog blockers inside the pen. They are big enough that the chickens fit right through but small enough that the poodles can't pass them in case/when they ever do get inside the run again.
