If they don't think this episode is heart related are they thinking it's like reflux or something? After one of my pregnancies I had chest pains so bad I thought I was going to die. After just going through labor a few weeks earlier, this pain was 10X's worse than that. Well the doc said it was only due to reflux and he put me on some medication. The pain did go away but I never knew anything GI related could be sooo painful. Is that the direction that they are going....attributing it to the GI tract? I would definately get a second and third opinion either way! Stay strong!!!!!!

I personally am so frustrated it is not even funny!!!!! Second opinion is a given right now, but they need to look at his gallbladder and -pancrease too/

Debs... thank goodness he is having a CT done......... it is taking them long enough for a proper diagnosis ... the CT should tell us everything....... keeping you both in my prayers .....

As strange as it sounds, there is always the possibility of anxiety attacks. They feel like heart attacks to the person who is having them. Not that I would brush any of this off and say that, definitely get that second opinion and have all the test to rule out everything.
