I'm so sorry you and your husband are having to go through this!

Heart disease at a young age runs in the males of both sides of my family but with some modern medical care and all of those "healthy lifestyle changes" the doctors recommend, all my brothers and my Dad are doing just fine. My Dad is now in his 80's and in good health although he still has to take an aspirin a day.
One of my cousins had it in his late 30's and had a quadruple bypass but he's also doing fine now with regular care and preventive measures.
My brothers are both just over 50 now. I am praying that the same will now happen with your husband. May the Lord keep you both safe in his hands and give your husband healing and aid the doctors in bringing him back to health.

O, Deb, I'm so sorry to hear this. Hard stuff just seems to be raining down on you these days.
