It's really not such a positive attitude as the way it is. I am not a happy camper tonight at all. I am tearful and fearful. I just know that God is God and He has the power. These things happen when we drift away. I need to be in His word more.

Job went through a lot. I pray that The Holy Ghost will lift you up and keep you in the Lord's will.

Here is a thought for you, maybe do some research it or discuss with the doctor...

My mother was 42 and just had a complete physical including ekg, 4 days later she had a heart attack. She had her second one at age 44 and even an agioplasia (sp?). Finally...they found a defect in the rear lower valve...it had been there her entire life and never showed on any test. It would not open and close properly regularly. She takes a pill to regulate the valve and has been heart attack free and heart issue free since..she will turn 67 in November.

Make sure he has an excellent cardiologist who is willing to really look him and his heart over.

Stay strong, bury your fear and get pushy with these docs to find out what the sam heck is going on. Cry later...get tough now, it is answer time.

Ooo glad his enzymes were good this afternoon. It's always good to have these things happen while at the hospital, they get you on the meds right away. I'm glad they aren't trying to send him home. It's obvious that something needs to be done.

Debbie, hope ken is doing better. I as a cardiac nurse am perplexed. Why aren't they recathing him??? His stents need rechecked. Chest pain is not normal, somthing causes it whether its a heart attack or not. Chest pain is your brain telling your heart "you need more oxygen" Oxygen is decreased by a blockage of some kind. The ekg is good and enzymes, great no damage, but something is causing his pain. If they cath and everything is good then they usually think it's gi related. Talk with the cardiologist in charge tommorow, if you don't like their answer direct your questions to the nurse manager of the floor. I don't like the idea of them not exploring this further.

I'm a strong believer that "rain" falls everywhere and for a person of Faith, it's their time to rest in the Lord's direction and have the peace that passeth all understanding...
