you'll be lucky to get toys - when I was about 5 I was home sick one day, and I made this pretty picture for my mom.

I took my used snotty kleenex and stuck those onto a paper and drew a stem - it was a flower, just for her

I don't know if I ever told her it was snot rags or not.

I listen to rap/hip-hop when dad's not around! I guess I'm trying to hold onto my youth. It's not working
sad.png

I listen to just about anything I guess.
I really love 70's and 80's music, like Chicago, Queen, REO Speedwagon, Journey, things like that.
And since I'm a 'child of the 80's' so to speak, I'm a groupie of the 80's hair bands...Warrant, Whitesnake, Poison, Def Leppard, to name a few.
Plus I like heavy metal like Metallica, Black Sabbath and such.
I really love George Jones!!!
love.gif
He is probably my all time favorite! I like any kind of country music, except the new stuff. If I want to listen to country, I don't want to hear rock music! Anything before '00 is pretty much a go. I really like classic country.

Oh and to tie in with our maragritas discussion we had the other day (which I have NEVER had btw

) One of my favorite songs is 'Jose Cuervo'!!

Well, mine does use my money, and gets stuff he wants for me, so I guess he is somewhat selfish too. But then again, he is only 4. I wonder if they will have a Santa's secret shop at the school this year? I haven't heard anything about it, maybe i'll call tomorrow and ask. The teachers usually 'help' the kids get their gifts. Hech, my luck I'd end up with makeup!! I'd rather have a toy car!

I like some country. I prefer the older stuff, too. Hank Williams, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, and the like (Patsy Cline is good, too). I used to go to the bars and dance to country music when I was young. Actually it was when I was too young to drink, I drank cokes,

. My friend's uncle was lead of the band, so we always got in even though we were under age. I always tried to get him to sing Mule Train
lau.gif
just because he was the only person I knew who could actually sing it.

Oh, and I have actually been to an Alabama concert (twice

)

I took my mom to see the Statler Brothers for her birthday one year. She loves the Statler Brothers.

When I was little (like maybe 5 or 6) my favorite singer was Marty Robbins. That man knew how to sing a good story

Yeah, dad pointed it out to us. I took Cris outside (who was born and raised so far just south of Tampa Florida!) and he says 'what IS that??' Soo cute! It does not, however, make me want to bake!

I would much rather bake than cook, if I have the stuff to do it with!

I need to figure out how to make fudge. Me and dad both are craving some! I've found some recipes, but they all call for chocolate chips. Doesn't anyone use cocoa any more??

I'm gonna do fudge this year, I haven't in a long time.

I want to try Pumpkin Fudge (it is heavenly!!) and I have a couple of those fudge kits I got at Save a Lot
lau.gif
- yeah I'm a cheater.

I usually make peanut butter cup "fudge" too - it's hubby's favorite. It is peanut butter, graham crackers and powdered sugar mixed and pressed into a pan, then covered in melted chocolate chips - let it harden then cut it. Tastes just like Reeses PBC. It isn't actually fudge, but it's tasty, whatever ya call it.

I promised my step dad I'd make him a mincemeat pie for Thanksgiving, too. Oh, and I have to make brownies for Jon, because he "isn't a pie person"

.

meri
mmmmm now I'm hungry for homemade candy.
