kristianhope18! Oh WOW! What a cool selection!

Right now I am loving the birds that lay unusual color eggs. So far my list of chickens I hope to acquire:

Araucanas (love the silvers, lavenders, porcelain looking wheatons, and white)

Ameraucanas - lavender, silver cuckoo

Crested Cream Legbars

Isbars - what an awesome mossy green egg!

Morans for the deepest darkest chocolate egg

Silkies - such a sweet, fluffy, funny bird.

I met one of the loveliest natured birds that was an Amercaucana Silkie cross. She was so soft, but had a regular feather pattern such a sweetheart. She was solid white. Now a have soft spot for trying that cross.

Sultans - they just look like they are so much fun to have around! I love how they run and leap lol

I can see how this 'hobby' turns into a lifestyle
Oh wow how stinkin cute! I'd be interested in a couple of ur Ameraucanas I have some eggs due soon but could always use a couple more lol. It really is I am totally chicken crazy right now lol It's shocked everyone! I have creasted cream Legbars and every color show quality silkie u could imagine and I do have a lavander Ameraucana a lady is wanting me to ship her in Arizona next month she's wanting to pay me 30.00 then pay 70 shipping so 110.00 for him! I have him for sale though! And I'm not sure what color the chicks are they are due to hatch the 1st of August so well see shortly! ;-)

Free to a good home, oh what the heck, a bad home, just someone's home but mine. one very nice looking 20 week old heritage RIR rooster. Has a tendency to crow, and crow, and crow, and crow, and crow, and crow, I think you get the idea. His name is Milton, mindless crowing is his game. I am sure he would shut up some if he wasn't quarantined from the pullets that are just not ready for his advances. But I live in too populated an area for this incessant noise maker, not that anyone but the wife has complained.

:welcome I love all the different colored eggs, too! I have Isbars, Marans and Ameraucanas (black and Wheaten/Blue Wheaten - they lay the bluest eggs!) and they are all laying, though the Ameraucanas only occasionally as they are molting.
Where are you located?! I would LOVE to see your chickies! I'm just loving learning all about these birds! Sooo much to learn :)

Oh! I wish I had all these!! That is my wish list and the breeds I am currently researching. I'd love to see all of yours and bend your ear to learn more! How far from Lexington/Georgetown are you?

Quote: My farm is closed to visitors for bio-security reasons, but I go to the Lawrenceburg swap (they have a page on Facebook) when I have eggs or chicks to sell. I am in Owen County and can arrange to meet in NKY if that is more convenient. I will also take pre-orders for chicks or hatching eggs. You can PM for details if you are interested.
