Some of my roosters have frost bite. I have a separate rooster bachelor pad for my Roos and it’s farther away from my house and it’s in an area that doesn’t have as good drainage, so they were probably wet from rain the night before it froze and now have frostbite 😞 I feel so bad for them. I have added extra straw and put bag balm on their waddles and feet. All my other animals are doing okay
Yes we have extra challenges in this area because it tends to rain and/or flood ahead of bitter cold spells 😩 i had Halloween HatchAlong chicks a few years ago when we had one of these spells and there was a “coop break” (similar to a jailbreak) that resulted in some frostbite and lost toes ☹️

Is it always obvious that they have frostbite? I'm wondering if one of mine does.

Looking for a female laying duck or two, having a lot of trouble finding some, so if anyone has some for sale or knows someone who does I would really appreciate it!

Some absolutely adorable bunnies FREE! Chinchilla x Lionhead approximately 12 weeks old. I'm located in Jeffersonville IN

I put eggs in the incubator today. 11 Black Copper Maran and 8 Ameraucana green eggs. The rooster is Black Copper Maran. I am hoping to get some pretty Olive eggs. The 21 day wait is always torture

I just hatched some White Layers and would be interested in getting a couple off my hands. Are you wanting adults now or can you wait a few weeks to get young ones? They won't be sexable until they can quack/rasp.

Is anyone interested in some pullets/cockerels in a few weeks? I can't tell you exactly what they will be yet because they're coming in a Hatchery Surprise Box March 17th but I know for sure I will need to thin out as soon as the breeds/sexes become obvious. Possibly in May? There will be all sorts of exotic/rare breeds and many crowd favorites.

I'm in S Central Kentucky. If anyone is interested in seeing what I have I'll post here when they come, some will be identifiable right away like Polish, Turkens, Cochins etc :)
