I was trimming about once a month but it has been a few months since I trimmed toenails last and they are due...My BFF comes over and clips the nails while I hold the birds. Then if we have time while she is here I do a more thorough dusting for preventive measures...Much easier to do with help.

Clueless just came on, that will do till I find something better! Why do all the good shows get put on hold for the holidays? Ghost hunters is supposed to be on on Wednesdays, but there are twilight zone reruns

Do you use just the dog nail clippers or what? And how much do you trim off?

Yes and it depends on how long they are. We clip them level with the bottom of the foot if that makes sense...Like how they curve down...

Oh yeah before I go to bed....I don't know whats up with this but one of the new chickies is part Silkie...It has 5 toes...Can't figure this one out because I am sure those eggs are the ones from the cage when the bantams and Splat were in there...Unless I took the wrong eggs from the crate when I took them down to the incubator. Yes I do make mistakes.. Who me?
