Almost forgot to tell ya'll about this...The two Call girls I have are so impatient in the mornings for their water to be filled that they have taken to flying over the fence, then they lay fairly close by while I fill the buckets(cause I now have a hose that stretches all the way back, yay me!) and then follow me back through the gate and get into the pool while I fill it. In the mean time the male is taking his morning bath in the fresh drinking water. Goofy ducks.

Still would like to find a cheap 10X10 kennel to put them in so I can put a nice cover on it. Then the chickens won't get in and drown in their baby pool I'll be getting for them. May call about the one in Berea if it is still posted when we get paid next week. Ron saw a 20X20 size one for 300.00 on some ad. Can't afford that much for one though...Plus that means I'd have to get more ducks.

I'd go for the 20X20, myself, then get more ducks, and a couple of geese, too...

Well, all, I ought to go spend some time with hubby, since he's being so sweet to me lately

Oh, and he doesn't have jury duty (didn't have to report, so no danger of having to be on a jury, I mean)

I kept thinking all day today it was Thursday and tomorrow was Sano

now I got another whole day to wait.

Oh, I haven't tried that one!! I bet that's pretty interesting! Which way did it say to go? Sounds like the same way I take. If you want, you can go down 76 to 206 and take a right. There is a small country store on your right, about a mile after you turn onto 206. I know the owners are the Grants, but not sure if that is what the store is called. I can meet you there, or you could come on down to my house. If you go past the store on 206 to the red church you turned by before (which would be on your right this time) it is only about 4 miles from that store. Then just remember to go DOWN the hill at the 'Y'. First house on the left. Let me know what you decide.

Grants store is right past sulphur creek road.

Hey billygoatgruff. The Sano auction is held every Friday night starting at 5-ish, basically at dark. Before the auction starts there are always people lined up along the drive selling just about anything. The auction itself has 2 parts, one for 'miscellaneous' and one for 'livestock'. The miscellaneous is for anything from poultry to post hole diggers, just about anything you want to sell you can put in this one. The livestock auction is mostly sheep and goats (hence the name 'Sano goat and sheep auction'), but occasionally there will be some horses, calves, and pigs, though pigs can go in either sale. There is one auctioneer, and the misc. auction is first. Depending on how long that one takes, the other one can start anywhere from 6-7 pm or later. I posted the address a few pages back, if you want to google it and see where it is. It is basically on the Russell/Adair Co. line, in Sano, KY. Anymore questions, just ask. There are a few of us Sano addicts on here.

Oh yeah, in the warmer months the sale starts at either 6 or 6:30, don't remember which for sure.

Hi all. I have been pretty busy. We are still trying to get the basement back together after the busted water line. Another week and things should be back to normal.

I took my girls shopping Monday. And since I went through Lancaster I stopped by this guys house that has been posting on Craigs list. I brought home 4 white brahmas and 2 more buff brahmas. They are about 5 months old. He also had some jersey giants that were the same age. He had an incubator full. Oh yeah and one funny thing was that she had some that were about 2 months old. And in the middle of all of these yellow babies was 1 black baby. It was an evil little silky. She was glad to get it, her husband wont let her have any silkies. That sneaky little devil.

Ok. now that I got caught up I have to get off. Got to get at it because I have to sleep this afternoon. Back to work tonight. I can get some rest.
