Glad to finally have someone in my neck of the woods! I hope to have some Coppers and maybe bantam BLRW to sell there this year. Maybe take a couple Cochins but they are never going to pay what I want for those. Last year I gave away Copper Marans Rooster at the meet if they promised to vote for Hillary!!!!
Nice to meet you Jane I'm Karen

Guess I needed more Roosters

I used to drink more coffee than I do now. Before I moved I used to love to run to the coffee shop and get latte's mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

Now if I have coffee, I put flavored creamers in them, and whipped cream on top

it's not Coffee - it's an Experience!!!

I usually have a diet coke in the morning, though, now - easier than trying to figure out the coffee pot when I'm half asleep.

But I do miss my caramel latte's. Oh, and the chcocolate peanut butter ones tasted just like Reeses!! mmmm I also used to like the Gingerbread lattes they would have those seasonally.

Not a decent coffee shop for miles out here

but the rest of the area makes up for it - I'll give up lattes for my farm any day.

Well, now that you're here I have to go

I need to clean house today, I'm moving some stuff in the sewing room, and the kitchen needs mopping.

Then we get to go out and work on the new fence - finally a day where I can go out and my nose hairs don't freeze and break off!!

Got to hang that cage out in the coop, too - we decided to hang it inside the coop, so I can use it more than just in summer.

I'll be back later today.

If I go I have to wait til I pick Layne up from school, Ron is out of town. Don't bring Hoss just yet unless you have to remove him right now. I need to have at least one of the runs built before I can take him because I'm afraid the other guys will harm him...A few are pretty rough on each other, gonna have to cull I think. Hoping to be able to hold off doing that til I get my runs built. I'll try to get a little A-frame tractor built this week for him. That will hold him till I can get the runs built...I'll put the white Cochin in with him and maybe the buff one. To keep him warm.

Yep yep, I get to do some chicken swapping, so I'll definitely be there! It is supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow, so there should be a good turn out. Hope so, cause I am going to take a butt load of roosters!

We are hoping for around 3:30 ish, so we can 'set-up' in the drive and try to sell my roos there. They have been bringing pretty decent amounts though lately, for roos anyway, so if I miss that I should do pretty well anyway.
