Oh, and I moved the tractor that the silkies and the babies share the other day. Well, it seemed like a good spot at the time. Luckily the silkies' side is more or less dry, the babies have a pool for a floor!!

Good thing I put a couple of roosts in there! There were a few that hadn't started using the roost yet, but they have changed their minds!

Bacon would be great on it!! Like greens, only with a piece of cabbage

I made pork chops with it, and shredded hash browns. Oven fried the chops.

I like it crusty on the grill - mine did ok in the oven, but it would have been better on the grill.

poor babies.

Yeah, if this doesn't let up by tomorrow evening, the ducks will have a good pond for a few days out there. Even the chicken run (which has a roof - not totally leak proof, but it helps) is flooded in places.

Yeah, hopefully it will at least stop for a little while, so I can get dad to help me move it. We made them so light that we have had to resort to putting tires (with rims) on top of them to keep them from blowing over! I can not lift those tires to put them back on there!

No, it's called a REAAAAAAALLY messed up back! Why do you think I sit on my booty all day going to school? I can't do 'on your feet all day' and 'heavy lifting required' types of jobs anymore! Plus, I slipped and fell in the mud a few weeks ago, flat on my butt, and it has thrown everything off in my back again. It was almost back to normal, well, as much as it can be anyway. Not anymore! It just about killed me to walk back in the woods last Friday with dad and Cris and the dogs. I was okay until it was time to come back, then it was all I could do to make it home!

just kidding ya.

I understand bad back - I had bad feet for the longest time. Had a job where I stood still most of the day - on concrete. I bought a cane and had to use it for awhile, there. (heel spurs suck).

Yeah, I've got the foot problem too, though I think mine is related to my back. My achilles' tendons get really tight sometimes, and it usually is the same time my back is really bugging me.

I had one of those jobs too. It gave me shin splints

Such lovely working environments we have in this country!

Ok, well that kind of came back to bite me in the butt!

I have to have the rough draft for my paper turned in by tomorrow. I didn't put a reference list on the outline that I did for it. I figured I would figure it out later. The school has a plagiarism checker, and it shows you where to find things that turn up as plagiarism in your paper. It only 'red flagged' 3 things in there, and I know that most of it was direct quotes from the sources! Plus I need to have at least 5 references, and 3 of those need to be from the university's library. So these 3 are all from the library, and one of them isn't really plagiaristic (?), it's just the way the words are grouped together!

So now I have to figure out 500+ more words just for the rough draft, plus find some more references! I do have the references list for the charts that I made for it, but those are all internet sites, not library sites. Ugh!! One of these days, I'll learn not to wait till the last minute!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to ya, Hubby was discussing my new pond - size, how to build it, etc... It's gonna be really nice once we get it done.

Wish it were summer so I could start on it!!!
