If you want to pick one up for me, LOL I can pay ya tomorrow (if ya have the spare cash, if not that's cool.)

The one with the two-tone wings??? Yeah that's what I told my dad. I said it was awfully pretty, probably be a roo
lau.gif

The 3 white ones look like dalmations. They all have black spots on them! So cute!!

The roo does have a rose comb, but he is more black and yellow, not really silver.

And i do think they are white rocks. I think his hens are columbian rocks as well, instead of brahmas. Do the white rocks get feathered legs at all? He only has 2 or 3 roos, but one has feathered legs for sure.

I bet the white ones are going to be really pretty chickens, can't wait to see them grown. Keep us updated with pics.

No Rocks don't have feathered legs. If it's all white with no columbian markings it's probably a Cochin(maybe poor quality one), otherwise like you said maybe Brahma.

Yes the one with the black n white wing...I think it is so pretty. What are the black ones in the very back? That one all the way up front looks almost like a lavender or is it just the lighting...

Wonder what I'd get if I mixed a BTB dutch Male with a Splash Dutch Female...A really messed up chicken?

The little one in the front is what I got when I mixed a blue splash roo with a black dutch hen!!!
As far as the other black ones in the back, some are from my black dutch hen, and some are from my dad's araucana mix hen. The little one in the front is a light blue splash. Most of the black and white ones will be a shade of blue or splash, that's how all of them looked when they hatched. The little white ones are the first ones from my red pyle boys.

The guy wasn't there this week. I did see a sign at Day&Day yesterday, but it didn't say how much they were. It was a business card, under the front counter on the board.

Well I am in Columbia, but I have tons of chicks for sale!!! They are all bantam mixes though. I have some as old as 7 0r 8 weeks, I lost count, and the youngest ones are 2 days old. Of course I can't tell what sex the littlest ones are. I think the ones that are easy to sex would be around 6-8 weeks old.

I am the proud owner of a trio of pharoah quail!!! I got them at the sale tonight. The guy had 36 total, I just waited till someone else got them, and got what I wanted!! So I will have a variety of quail eggs this spring!!

Meri- There was a cage of pheasants there. We saw the guy as he was leaving. I guess the cage had a hole in it. He lost two of them as he was trying to put them in his truck!! Can you believe that? I felt so sorry for him. He paid about $10 each for them. At least he saved the male and one female.

Cool, I'll just keep an eye out - maybe the lady with the veggies will have some next time I see her (at her farm, of course, I'll just ask her if she has babies and how to get to her place.)

That sucks!! I would be so bummed!

It's cool that ya got some quail, though. You can probably put them in with the doves and let them hang out in the bottom of the cage. I want soem quail, if I could talk the guys into eating them, LOL. If they won't eat them, there's no point getting them.

How big do pharaoh quail get?

See ya tomorrow morning

How far is Columbia from Lexington? I think I've seen some pics of your pullets for sale...I love the blues and splashes!

I just checked the distance...If you weren't so far I would take at least one of those cute chicks off your hands. We're already driving 2 1/2 hours to get there and couldn't make that long of a trip in the two days we'll be there. Thank you though!
