Kentucky people

Anybody near Bath County have any colored egg layers? Blue, green etc? I'm also looking for something that will lay a white egg. I'd love to buy from someone local. I'm not really picky about pedigree, just prefer a calmer bird. My little girl is kinda skittish around birds.

), I've got 11 chukars, 26 quail and 33 guineas of different colors

I wonder if penning the keets for a few weeks first would help, they would get used to you and the surrounding area. They would identify with their coop and pen as the main nesting area and be more willing to stick around. Also they would get used to you feeding them and handling them. Just a thought, as I've never had keets.

I think we are about tied right now on quail, that is, if you don't count buttons and babies

I have 13 adult buttons, 17 baby buttons, 73 baby coturnix

and 31 adult coturnix. She's got me beat on guineas though, counting babies I have 10.

What color guineas do you have? I have 5 or 6 buff dundottes (one of my hens is 'missing', don't know if she is setting or not), and I have 5 young lavenders.
Most of the baby quail will not be staying. I plan on seperating them into groups this week and taking them to Sano, if I can find a ride

What time do you want to go to Sano next Friday? I will not be driving the wagon, as I no longer have it.

I went to see about renting a van for the Chickenstock weekend and they wanted almost $400.00. I said forget it. So instead I went and traded the wagon in for a 2000 Dodge Caravan. So I now have a dependable vehicle. Let me know, okay?

I usually try to get there around 3 central time, since everyone lines up in the parking lot. Get there early enough and might actually be able to find a spot in the shade!

Too bad you traded your wagon, you really liked that car didn't you?
