Wonder why we always get stuck with at least one wierd pet?!!

We have a cat that goes out in the yard squats and pees like the dogs do... She's hilarious. Haven't caught her doing the #2 out there yet, but wouldn't be surprised.

Now don't bite the hand that feeds you, they're only trying to keep you healthy and hydrated in those 3 wks...

Hey Mrs. Turbo.... wish you'd said you wanted to lighten your pygmy count.... I'm always looking for new little lovelies to love...

One of my new does has very little teats and I'm not sure I can milk her...

I couldn't say no to her as it looked like they were soooo neglected. I finally have gotten them to fatten up and you can't see their backbones sticking out and the hollowed look has gone....

I think three of my does are expecting... two I got and the guy said they were bred and the third I think got nailed by my wether before he went thru his change (took three times to neuter the guy)...

Chuck, sounds like you'll be even further away but it sounds like you got one heck of a deal... good luck with that...

I wish I could go to the Wednesday sale but work keeps me in Louisville....

I did hear some things about the Sano sale but I don't know when that is or where that is.... I've only lived in KY for three years and still am finding my way around...

Hey Bluedog, if you are hatching out any Welsummers or Aracuna/Ameracunas, I'd be interested in buying them from you... or I could swap you for some Awesome Goat's milk soap!!! Ask Mrs. Turbo for a testamonial on my soap...

Yes I will be moving further south, Winchester is about 20 miles east of Lexington. It is exactly 125 miles from my current place to the new one. I will probably be moving at the end of October or the first part of November. But I won't be moving furniture or anything until I go in an thoroughly clean the place and do some minor repairs, and paint and plaster, etc. Guess I'll have to pay double bills for awhile until I get everything done.

it was just a last minute thing.....see the little wooden door on this duck pen???? the little white one in the back.

there is also one on the other side.....these are our white show ducks and the two females managed to get the door open and they got up into the duck pen......good thing DH didn't see them or they would have been gone that day. They were my little trouble makers.
I do have twin baby girls that are 3 weeks old and I think I will get rid of one of them.

you can see the TSC from the swap.....it is across street from the flea market area where the fruit stand it. People get there at 6:30 sometimes, but we never show up until 7:30 or later....they are an hour behind our time and we are in the Elizabethtown area.

anyone interested in 3 wheaten and 1 black copper marans hens?
1 wheaten is laying and the others should start anytime.
we got these directly from Ron Presley....just don't want to build another chicken pen to start a new variety.

Thanks Shelley....What day/time is it? 1.5 hrs is a bit of a drive but might be worth it as some of the folks at the Shepherdsville SY say they go there and get some really good deals....

Mrs. Turbo, I'll take the Wheatens if you would like to trade for some soap.... I also bake some really mean pumpkin/nut/chco chip bread....

Just ordered a bunch of new soap making supplies and now I have no more hobby money
