Well, regardless, I don't want silkies - and it isn't just because I haven't seen them in person
I have seen them, still don't want them.
Well, Miss Celie discovered the barn !!
I was afraid she'd freeze this winter, but I guess Shug and Jr. showed her the joys of donkey body heat wafting up through the rafters.
The three of them are currently sitting in the back window of the barn looking at the Guineas running around trying to find them.
stoopid guineas.
I've added another hen to the list of "get rid of". Oprah has got to go - she is so mean, and she doesn't lay that well, so she's outta here. Poor Spazz tried to hop up onto the perch beside Oprah (who was the only bird on the 6 foot long perch) and Oprah got hold of her comb and yanked her right off the perch
This isn't the first time Oprah has acted like that. I never did like that hen, only kept her for George's sake, and George has plenty of women now to keep him busy.
Well, gonna go see if I can read some of my book (soon, LOL got to check the hatching eggs for sale forum, first <snicker>)

My poor Charlie was the brunt of a perch beating yesterday. He had the splash roo and one of the red pyles on each side of him pecking at any part they could reach! Poor guy! I hope they don't make him mean! He is so sweet!
