Kentucky people

Well I have been trying to get back into chickens for several months now. I had no luck. My wife on the otherhand brought me home 26 chicks today. Alittle more than I was planning on but I have a 8' by 16' empty chicken coop and an empty 5' by 10' coop. 6 SLW pullets, 6 GLW pullets, 6 light brahma pullets, 6 BO pullets and 2 roo BR. I wonder how long til my 50 gallon livestock tub is outgrown.

Honestly I am not sure. I asked her and she said they were pure and she only remembered one breed. I am down to trying to get in touch with her grandson and see if he remembers. She is in her late 90's so I didn't push for the breed hard. She just wanted me to have nice roosters to get started with.

Just found this thread and wanted to say hey to my fellow Kentuckians. I live in Glendale just outside of Elizabethtown. If your familiar at all with the area I'm actually in Star Mills.

We have them in my in laws basement. But in a few weeks when the tub isnt big enough they may not be so happy with the arrangement.
