Good Morning Everybody,

Glad to see I'm not the only one being woken up in the middle of the night by someone or something, me it's the 6 furkids that decide to do one of the following:

A) Play lets kick Daddy out of bed
B) Let's all shift sleeping positions and steal the blankets
C) Bark at something that isn't there
D) Want to go outside and bark at nothing
E) Get all the squeeky toys, make them squeek and shove them in Daddy's face to play with them.

The mailman just came and delivered a package from Swiss Colony, Yummy Treats!

Yep I will have to go buy a powerball tix. I used to get up big pots here at work and never got anything. I think the last time it was close to $200. So I dont think it matters how many tickets you buy. But I would sure love to be a winner.
And if I win we will have one big chicken party.

overslept... woke up by the phone.... I'm up, I'm here.... what'd I miss ?

This morning I moved a heat lamp so it hangs right next to the nest box that Miss Piggy is in, I figured she'd appreciate some warmth when the door is wide open across the coop there. At least she is in a dif nest box, so it isn't exactly across the from the door. (She moved the day I threw her out, trying to get her to NOT be broody)

I did wake up briefly this morning, about 7 AM, to check to see if Sam got up and went to school. He was very quiet this morning, so I thought he overslept, too. I should have just stayed up, but I went back to bed.

Soon as I wake up I'm gonna make a big breakfast - eggs bacon toast - not sure why, just sounds good to me this morning.

Then I get to clean house. It's not that bad, just needs dusting, vacuum, bathroom sinks wiped down, little stuff that makes it look bad when it really isn't that bad.

I ought to do my homework while I'm enjoying the icky weather outside. I haven't done any for three months, cause I took a leave of absense, since I was so busy. Leave of absense is up, now, and I have a paper either due early January, or I have to extend the leave of absense. Still haven't decided what to do on that one.

My dumb dog likes to sleep under the woodstove when it is burning. He has maybe 4 inches of clearance over his body when he lays under it, and it is usually head first with his butt sticking out. One of these days he's gonna burn himself. Hopefully he won't catch the whole house on fire. It's not too bad under there, if the ashes haven't been cleaned out in a few days, but when it hasn't any ash in the bottom, it gets HOT. Stoopid dog

As to the wet/dry discussion, I usually stock up when I go to Campbellesville - Marion County is wet, and Big John's is about 5 miles out of Campbellesville, so I can usually just hit there and re-stock for a few months. Most people near me go to Bowling Green - no idea why, it is a lot further to drive. Those that don't go either place, buy from the local bootlegger who lives down the road and around the corner. I've never bought from him, he's actually kind of a creepy old guy - gives me the heebie jeebies.

Well, gonna cruise BYC to see if anything looks interesting enough to post to.

You overslept??? I layed back down around 8ish, thinking I'd wake up around 10:30 or so, no big deal, the animals will just have to wait a little while for their breakfast, right? I woke up to zaboomafoo playing on the TV! It comes on at 12:30!!!! And it was half over already! I can not believe I slept that long! I think I'm trying to get sick, cause I've been doing that a lot lately! Took some eggs to the P.O., stopped at the feed store, came back home, and it's almost time for the kid to get home! So looks like I'll be up late finishing homework again

Sooo..... I walk into the office today and hubby is on ebay - just looking, he says...

I look over his shoulder and he's looking at Egg Gathering Baskets.

He knows I've been wanting one, a nice one.

I think I know what hubby is looking at for Christmas for me (in addition to the incubator he already bought me

That's neat that he is looking at those for you! I just hope if he does get one, you actually use it! He might be a bit offended if you didn't!

BTW, Where IS everyone today?? I'm all alone, nobody wants to talk today! Not even on the other threads! It's like a ghost town!

Cris named his little jap baby 'Heidi'. I think he meant 'hiding', because after he decided on the name, he proceeded to shoo her away, so they could play hide-n-seek!

He is a chicken whisperer as well! He was holding her and singing a lullaby to her, and she fell asleep! He even set her on the floor, and she stayed right there by him! So cute!

Didn't you read??? I slept most of the day!!

Then I did some homework for college, I'm taking accounting classes

Soooo much fun!!

Had to go to the feed store AGAIN, shipped some eggs, and was just getting ready to give up on anyone talking to me and wrap some gifts. But that's ok, I can always do that later!
