Kentucky people

Okay so the last bunch of eggs I sent out the day of the attack went to Becky3086 and are now hatching...She got some BRxCochin, BR, BTB something, and some black bantams that we are coming to the conclusion had to be the Blue Silkie over the Female Bl Silkie or over the Self Blue Cochin bantam, as they have feathered legs. It had to be new layers cause none of us ever got black bantys out of my eggs. And those are the only two girl I saw him breed. I think it's so cool, wish I had some of those.

Were you heading across Donner pass at that time? It gets really bad up there.

I've been across Donner Pass, I think it was near there, up by Truckee. It's been a lot of years

btw - one of the prettiest things to see out west is to come down the mountain into Salt Lake City at night with the lights of the town all glowing beneath you.

Don't challenge Him Shelley! He can do want he wants, when he wants, how he wants, to whom he wants.

in my mind I'm hearing Christopher Lee say (to a shocked Edward Woodward) "Parthenogenesis".

I love that movie.

I'm gonna have to haul that one out when Adam gets here, and we can watch it - haven't seen that one in awhile. I didn't care for the re-make, just doesn't have the same Ooomph as the original.

Sorry

Wicker Man - the old one, not that new one -- the remake isn't nearly as good as the old cult classic.

The old one is much more 70's and it works better that way - being set in modern times just doesn't do the theme justice, IMO .

eta - besides, the new hasn't got Christopher Lee - he rocks

hubby got it for me for Christmas one year, cause I'm such a cult fan of that old corny movie.

You can watch it sometime if ya want - but it is very weird.

Not sure how much room I'll have with his bags and him (he's a big boy

) I have to leave at probably 4 AM, since it'll take me longer getting there if there's ice.

I told him not to panic if I'm late, though.

Just an update y'all. I am now the proud owner of a large old oppossum. Yep. With my trappers license, I now own his hide.

It was a nice day today so I let all the guys and gals out here to explore the yard. They did for a little while but when I went to check on them they were all in the coop?! What the hay? Too windy for them I think.

I went to my hens place and they never left the porch area. I finally brought two inside and later I went to check on the other two and scared off that small hawk that's been hanging around. So that's why they were hanging close to the house under the cedar bushes.

Well I had to move the 16 six week old Delaware X Cornish chicks to a pen inside the coop. They were flying out of the box and exploring the floor. Just a little bit too much. This also gives the nine other younger two week old chicks the whole large brooder box to themselves.

I went to wal-mart and bought one of their automatic ten pound dog feeders for my chicks. It's a big gravity fed plastic thing but a lot cheaper than the chick feeders. We'll see how it works.

I made christmas cards at Walgreens with a picture of my favorite roo Rusty. I'm going to try to down load pictures again.

If I don't get on again for a while I'd like to wish y'all a Merry Christmas. Hope you enjoy the Hollidays.
